Founded in 2003, Black Lion Productions is a full service video production company currently located just north of San Antonio. We have produced a wide array of video content – with some of our short movies winning awards at prestigious film festivals.

Our video is captured in pristine High Definition utilizing state of the art tapeless workflows, and sound is captured in high quality digital audio. In postproduction, we use the latest software including Apple’s Final Cut Studio 3, Digidesign’s ProTools, and many other graphic and audio applications on a roaring 8-Core Mac Pro.

Once our raw video is captured to the computer, we convert each shot to one of Apple’s new ProRes codecs to preserve the integrity and clarity of the image through the postproduction process. Stunning and sharp images can then be delivered in a wide range of formats to suit each client’s specific needs.
